Our Precious Little Bunnies

Well, I'm sure that when our boys grow up they will be a little upset with me for taking this picture, but for now, they are having fun (and so are we!!). These are our little bunnies. After about 20 minutes of picture-taking and laughter on our part, the boys were ready to ditch the ears. Who says you need girls for "playing dress up"?! Hope our bunnies brighten up your day!

A Walk in the Park

What a gorgeous day today has been! We decided to go for a walk in the park to celebrate the nearness of Spring. The boys love their sunglasses and had lots of looks and grins their way. Gramm had a great time pushing them around! It won't be long before the boys are striding with us, hand in hand. I cherish every one of these moments. We are so grateful to be a family.

SWIM TIME!!

Yesterday, the boys attended their first swim class and they had a blast! Gramm (Scott's Mom, Linda) was able to join in on the fun and take lots of pictures. The boys loved floating and splashing in the water, chasing after rubber duckies and flirting with the instructor and the other cute little gals. The temperature was a very inviting 94 degrees. Here are a few pics to display the pre-swim fun and their first class. Love to all!

Family Visit

Matt, Camden, Cayden & Cyndi

My Grandparents with Cayden & Camden

The boys had so much fun spending time with family this past weekend. They really loved being fed and entertained by Buela and Buelo, Aunt Cyndi and Uncle Matt. They were filled with hugs and kisses and songs of all kinds. When they would wake up in the morning, they were immediately taken to the living room where Aunt Cyndi and Uncle Matt showered them with kisses as the boys giggled and pulled their hair. Cayden especially loved Buelo's singing while Camden laughed with Buela as she played with him and his toys. I am so blessed by our family!

Cayden's First Tooth!!

Oh my, here we go again on the milestones.... we welcomed Cayden's first tooth on Saturday, February 16th at 25 weeks of age. He is, after all, the big brother!! He has signs of his second tooth coming in. Camden's gums are a little red and swollen, but no tooth yet. Can't believe how big our boys are getting. They start their first swim class tomorrow and will get their 6 month shots on Monday.

Like Father, like Sons

Scott at 6 months

Cayden, 6 months

Camden, 6 months

Camden

Oh boy, I am so excited to share these pictures with you all!! We thought we would keep the baseball tradition by putting our boys in an outfit similar to their Daddy when he was the same age. The boys had so much fun wearing their caps! In the last photo, Camden is trying to sit up on his own, slightly leaning forward from his "weight". Daddy and I were cheering them on! We are their biggest fans!!

Our Big Boys!!

Wow!! Here we go again!! The boys are eating their cereal in their high chairs as of yesterday (me feeding them of course) and Cayden has a tooth on the verge of breakthrough. I am both excited at these new events, and saddened at how fast these little bambinos are growing. I treasure these moments and am so thankful that I get to be home with them to experience all their firsts. Cayden is on the right, Camden on the left. Happy eating!

Grateful Footprints

The boys and I went to a local pottery place with a couple of gals. I picked out a cute platter and had their feet placed on there with paint. Whooo, what a chore that was! The boys were fussy because it was nap time and they wanted their bed. I was frustrated that they wouldn't fall asleep in their carriers and allow Mommy to have girlie time. But as I packed up our things and headed toward our home, I began to be grateful..... I am grateful for these two miracles that God has entrusted us with. I am grateful that they are on a great schedule that gives them comfort and security. I am grateful that I can place them in their cribs and they soon drift off to sleep (after a chatty conversation in their own language), knowing that Scott and I provide a safe place to raise them. I am grateful that I have friends who understand and will keep inviting me to do fun things. So I kissed my boys as I placed them in their cribs, grinning as I heard them give a sigh of relief. I am grateful for them..... and that I can always go back on Saturday when Daddy is home!! ; )

Brotherly Love

The boys have such a bond with each other. They find each other amusing to say the least. When I'm burping Cayden over my shoulder, Camden laughs, mouth wide open. Then I switch and Cayden begins to laugh at the notion of his brother getting "pounded". They bring us so much joy--thought we would share the joy with you. Here is Cayden getting a hand to the head from brother as they laugh at each other's presence. So in love.............

Hooray for Self-feeding!!

Hooray for us!! Camden has been feeding himself his bottle for a week now. (The boys are 24 weeks). He looks like such a big boy! I love seeing all these new stages, yet it saddens me that they are growing so fast. Just today we went to an open house at a potential preschool.... tears in my eyes as I write that. If you think of us, pray that we get in next August 2009. It would be great for the boys to socialize with a larger group of kids. So anyhow, here we are at another milestone-- bottle holding. Cayden is close but he only lasts about a minute on his own. Thanks for letting us share this journey.
