Saying Good-bye to December

Cayden & Camden
The blessing of having lots of family! The boys really enjoyed their time with Papa, Gramm & Aunt Andrea. Favorite place to eat-- Chris Madrid's!!!
Cayden & Camden pictured with their Grammie Cantu & Uncle Rowdy. My Mom is a busy woman-- many of you know that my little brother has Asperger's which is one of the diagnosis under the Autism umbrella of pervasive developmental disorders. She is a great advocate!
The boys were delighted watching their cousin Ryan get ready for school. Somehow they thought that if they each had a "school bag", they would get to go to school with Ryan. Here they are waiting by the door at bright-n-early-o'clock.

Camden likes putting lotion in his hair and tries to "fix" it like his cousins. Aunt Cyndi helped to make it look better.

Some Holiday Cheer!!

On Dec.23, we celebrated Scott's ?? birthday at Houlihan's Restaurant in San Antonio. I am so proud of the man I am honored to call my husband. He is loving, generous, honest, giving, has a servant's heart and is the best husband & father. Happy Birthday Superman.

Christmas Day was at Cyndi's house for the first time ever. Guess it took the boys moving in for the family to come! Cayden & Camden got so many presents, including Elmo Live! and Ernie. They were even spoiled with their 1st Italian Shoes (they look like Converse)! Mommy was a college graduate before she got Italian shoes!!
Myself & 2 very special women:
My mother-in-law Linda and my Grandma.

My grandpa & George are the sillies of the group- Need I say more?MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE BOERGERS !!!

BWA--DURR!!

As we were packing the last of our things for the trek to San Antonio, we heard the squeaky echo of Camden calling for Cayden: BWA-DURR! BWA-DURRRR! Then we heard the return babbles of Cayden growing nearer toward the laundry room. Of course, we've learned not to forget our camera when we are in search of our mischievous sons.

Oh well, it's cheap entertainment. It is, of course, until they start taking the laundry from the basket & try to flush it down the toilet!! Never a dull moment!

Making our hearts Melt!!

There are so many things about these special boys that make our hearts melt.
They often wrestle and escalate in roughness with each other until someone eventually cries, but all in all, they love each other. They get angry with us when we are reprimanding the other. They often give each other hugs, though not as often as they wrestle! Their personalities continue to develop, giving us more chuckles than we could ever have imagined.

Home to San Antonio

It's been almost 2 weeks since we've been in San Antonio. The transition has been difficult, but it is for the best. The boys are just now adjusting a little better. We have met their new pediatrician and she is fantastic!  Since we've been here, the boys have tested their boundaries.
They have washed their hands in the toilet (twice) and thrown a bottle of lemon juice in while they were at it; they have chased the small, 14 year old dog and nearly given it a heart attack; the dog, in turn, has urinated multiple times on our belongings, including the boys pack-n-plays, our suitcases, shoes and sippy cups; the boys have learned to climb on top the ottoman and the cement/marble topped steps; they've eaten dog food multiple times, have discretely taken a bag of animal crackers to their room (which the 4 of us share) and dumped them out, eaten a few, then sucked a few just until moistened, then left them on the floor to "stick";  they've come walking into the kitchen with Q-Tips coming out of their ears from I-don't-know-where; All in all, they are boys!
We are hoping that our house will sell soon, though we don't have any prospects at the moment. So while we are in this uncertain time in our lives, I must hold on to scripture from Phillipians: In all things I must be content.
