Loving Springtime
I love to see how amazed the boys are at the newness of Spring. They point out flowers, birds, sweetgum pods, bugs (ughhh) and anything else they find in the vast outdoors. They roam the yard looking for treasures while Scott & I keep our fingers crossed that they don't find doggie mounds. One thing is for sure--they love Spring & so do we!

Loving Meal Time!!
The boys are feeding themselves with their utensils-- well, most of the time! We've had to explain that we don't use our silverware as hair brushes, table hammers or "brother-pokers."

All Boy
There's just something about boys.... They love wearing caps, making car sounds, growling, wrestling, laughing, spitting, running, diving, somersaults, bugs, dump trucks and the list goes on. I am so glad that my boys are happy, healthy and have an all-boy spirit!

18 Months & Growing
Cayden & Camden got their first bean bag. They LOVED it! We hear their stomp-stomps as they run across the room and then dive onto their bag. Cayden getting ready for outdoor play.
Camden enjoys collecting sweet gum balls into his dump truck and then transfers them into a bucket. He often gestures that he would like to bring them inside to play, but Mommy draws the line here.

Looking More & More Like Daddy
The boys are looking so much like their Daddy. They are 18 months and as silly as can be. Camden often gives this look, which means he's up to something & thinks he's been caught. We won't know for a few days when a strange scent hits the nose of food that was once a part of their meal instead of a decomposing science project hidden in the nooks & crannies of our home. Cayden is showing us where 'time out' is. Often times when one is placed in time out, the other one comes and sits with him. They are a tight pair of brothers.

Silly Moments
Just a few of the many silly moments caught on camera.
Daddy & Camden
Cayden pushing Camden in the "choo-choo train"; who needs to buy toys when diaper boxes are more fun?!
Camden wearing Mommy's flannel vest
Cayden & Camden get a little restless when dinner takes longer than expected.
The boys are 18 months. They said bye-bye to their bottles on the last week of February and are able to use their utensils pretty well. Their vocabulary seems to increase every week! They are quite the comedians, though I'm not sure they know it quite yet. We are so grateful for healthy, happy boys!

National Mother-in-law Day!!
What a perfect time to tell my mother-in-law just how special she is. This entry is dedicated to Linda, with love:
1. Thank you for making it easy to love you.
2. Thank you for the values you ingrained into my wonderful husband.
3. The first woman a man ever loves is his mother. I am honored that you are the one who first showed him pure, unconditional love.
4. Thank you for being a super wonderful grandmother to our sons. Your frequent calls, visits, emails, texts & blog comments show a bit of your love & interest in all of our lives.
5. I appreciate the depths you went through with my family to await the birth of our sons, even if it meant living with us for a month =)
6. Thank you for wanting to be a part of my own family-- they all love you!
7. Thank you for the wonderful things you teach me about life, nature & the many things that fascinate my mind. You are a gem!
Today, I prayed for you. I hope to honor you by loving your son to the best of my abilities. Thank you for letting me marry your eldest child & only son, the love of my life. I love you and am so honored to be your daughter-in-law.

Future Train Engineers
While trying to put the boys in their PJ's for bed, we constantly have to take a detour for the ol' train. They love taking turns pushing each other around. Camden puts on his hat & shouts "ChooChoo!" Cayden thought he would try riding backward until he saw his brother approaching. I think he's been warned a time or two that Camden is fearless. While Cayden is minding his own business, up comes Camden to join in on the fun.
Life is amazing with these boys. I can't believe that time is flying by so fast. The boys just had their 18 month check up and the results were amazing!
~Camden was 30.5 lbs, 34.5 inches tall, putting him in the 95-97th percentile.
~Cayden was 31 lbs, 35 inches tall, putting him in the 99th percentile.
What's funny: their heads are so big that they were off the charts to something like 110%!! I knew those noggins were pretty special!
